Town Information

The town of West Bridgewater is located south of Brockton, east of East Bridgewater, West of Easton and North of Bridgewater.  The town is approximately 10.14 square miles in area.  It was incorporated in 1822 and currently has a population of about 6,694.  The town budget for the fiscal 2007 year is $19.54 million dollars.  The Town Hall is located at 65 North Main Street and is open Monday through Friday 8:00 a.m. to 4:00 p.m.  All Town Offices can be reached at 508-894-1200.

District Information

As of October 1, 2005 the West Bridgewater Public Schools had an enrollment of 1025 students in grades Pre-K through 12.  The West Bridgewater Middle Senior High with grades 7-12 had 443 students, the Howard School grades 4-6 had 269 students, the Rose L. MacDonald School with grades 1-3 had 243 students and Spring Street School had 137 students.  For the school year 2005-2006 the West Bridgewater Public Schools are "Choice Schools".
