Application for Teaching Position

The school business office oversees the procurement and payment process for the school budget; State and Federal Grants; the management of all school buildings and grounds; and the processing of payroll for all school employees.

It is the responsibility of the school business office to comply with all state and federal regulations set by the Department of Education and the Department of Revenue.

Job Application Process:

Thank you for your interest in the West Bridgewater Public Schools.  West Bridgewater employs approximately 175 instructional and support staff.  All teaching staff are certified teachers.

1.    Interested applicants must submit the following documents for employment consideration.
            a.    Cover letter
            b.    Resume`
            c.    Application
            d.    College Transcripts
            e.    Copy of Massachusetts Teaching Certificate
            f.    Three Letters of Recommendation

2.    Your application will be reviewed by the appropriate personnel to determine if your qualifications meet the posted needs.  Selected applicants will be scheduled for the interview process.  Not all applicants will granted interviews.

3.    If you become a candidate for hire, the following additional information is required:
                a.    Criminal Offender Record Information (CORI)
                b.    Copy of Birth Certificate
                c.    Copy of Passport or Social Security Card
                d.    References

4.    Salary and benefits are administered in accordance with the respective collective bargaining agreements.  Salaries reflect both experience and education.
